The Titans competition provides schools of all abilities to opportunity to experience playing Rugby League in a safe and enjoyable environment. This year, 63 boys sides played in two divisions in Years 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12 school grade groups.Ī record 43 girls’ teams registered to take part this season. The Titans Schools League now caters for three school year levels (7/8, 9/10 and 11/12), with two divisions in each, for both boys and girls. The Titans Schools League high school competitions began in 2006 as the Titans Cup and Challenge, a two-tier, open age boys competition for local Gold Coast high schools. Image supplied.īeaudesert State High School’s Brayden Teece was named Player of the Tournament. “This group of young men bought the attitude and effort required each week for training and for game days.” Brayden Teece is awarded Player of the Tournament. The school has been competing in the Cup for 15 years.Ī spokesperson for the school said the win was a great reward for a team with excellent attitude and commitment to the game. The boys defeated Marsden 28-6, leaving no doubt at any point in the game who the victors were going to be. Beaudesert State High School played an incredible game against Marsden to win the 7/8 Division Two Titans Cup Grand Final.
